Deckle was a game changer at our Weekly Diversitea Events, where we aim to promote diversity within the computing and software systems community by inviting individuals from all backgrounds to connect. Deckle made it super easy for everyone to team up, dive into activities, and even solve computing related problems together! Our students were able to bond together in more organic and natural way, and they can also share different topics such as Wellbeing, TechTrends with the team. If a student can feel heard and valued, that’s a real boost to their uni experience and performance. Major kudos to Deckle for really making a positive difference in the uni community.

Deckle is well-suited for smaller-scale student-led events. This year, we collaborated with the CISSA university club to host the CISSA Diversitea Quiz, conducting three successful events with consistent participation of around 50 attendees each time. Our aim is to go beyond the traditional approach of students merely showing up for free giveaways, striving to create genuinely enjoyable student-led experiences.
