Deckle co-hosted the student services team conference for managers at the university, gathering 100 staff of varying positions, from departmental managers to professors. The conference was strategically designed to delve into key factors and share experiences aimed at enhancing student wellbeing within the university community.
Deckle co-hosted the student services team conference for managers at the university, gathering 100 staff of varying positions, from departmental managers to professors. The conference was strategically designed to delve into key factors and share experiences aimed at enhancing student wellbeing within the university community.

HOW DECKLE MADE IT HAPPEN
The event commenced with our unique “Emoji Buddies” group matching activity to put participants into groups, followed by a customised "Mates' Trivia" game with questions focused on ways to enhance student wellbeing. The game is strategically designed to raise awareness and initiate discussions on this critical topic. The event concluded with the iconic “Incredible Race” with fun tasks around the Melbourne Zoo, such as taking a photo in front of the tiger, coming up with a team mantra, and filming it. The activities are easily accessible across a spectrum of devices, from mobile phones to tablets, and ensured widespread participation among all ages.
We received lots of positive feedback underscores the success of the event in not only achieving its objectives but also in creating a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere that resonates with diverse participants.
