Deckle helped bring about lots of energy, it helped getting people off their seats. It definitely created a buzz that was a good change from all the information overload that they got eariler in the session. We were very happy with how the event ran, Lex and the team were definitely on hand to help out and they were there every step of the way.

HOW DECKLE MADE IT HAPPEN
HOW DECKLE MADE IT HAPPEN
Crafting Engagement: Meeting Monash's Challenge
Just two weeks before the orientation event, the organisers at Monash University contacted Deckle with the request of putting together something that screams group fun, lively chats, and a dash of suspense. With just two weeks to prepare, Deckle rose to the challenge.
Deckle's Triumph: Tailoring Fun and Suspense
We custom-made the Poll Masters game tailoring to their needs. Poll Masters is a game where players compete to predict the most popular answers to various questions. It is all about trying to think like your fellow participants and predict what the majority of players will answer to each question. It's a fun way to test your knowledge of common opinions and preferences as well as gaining a deeper understanding of your cohort.
The Event Unveiled: From Emoji Buddies to Poll Masters
The event started with our classic Emoji Buddies group matching game, once the students were matched into their groups and settled at the tables, Mates’ Trivia kicked in to help the group members introducing themselves and stimulating conversations. Poll Masters took place right after, with questions that lead meaningful discussions such as “Which Tech company do you consider the coolest, Google, Apple, Microsoft or Canva?”, students response were off the charts.
